Anna Pakosz (b. 1991, Hungary) is a London based visual artist whose practice explores painting as an act of motion, intuition, and unfolding presence. Her work centers on painting as a performative and process-driven act, where layered gestures, absorption, and chance capture the tension between control and release, intention and discovery. Her work investigates themes of freedom, embodiment, and transformation through the medium of painting.

Treating painting as a duration rather than a depiction, Pakosz invites viewers to linger within the flux of color, rhythm, and emotion. Through her experimental, material-based approach, she reveals painting as a living, thinking form — fluid, open, and endlessly becoming. A graduate of City and Guilds London Art School, she has participated in international residencies including the Tracey Emin Artist Residency in Margate, and has exhibited widely across the UK and Europe.
