Csató's book My favourite place is the garden in my head focuses on the works of the last three years. Sándor Hornyik, an art historian, has written a great essay for the book, and the introductory text is written by the Belgian art writer Femke Vanderbosch. The book is designed by Péter Zalán Salát.
The book is a collaboration between the artist's three international galleries, Deák Erika in Budapest, Plus One in Antwerp and Double Q in Hong Kong.
József Csató is one of the best known painters in Hungary today, active on the international scene. He has exhibited his work in Antwerp and Berlin, and this summer he will be showing in Los Angeles. He has been working with Deák Erika Gallery since 2015.
Zoé Hegedűs studied at the Basque Culinary Center in Spain and obtained a Master's degree in Food Design in Milan. In addition to working in several renowned international restaurants, she has been working as a food stylist in several Hollywood film productions (e.g. Dune 1-2, Poor things).
Péter Zalán Salát, book designer and graphic designer, is a two-time winner of the German Design Award, one of the best known designers in Hungary today. His books include Fortepan Masters and Solidarity Must Be Defended.
The book was edited by Róza Tekla Szilágyi.
